Jens Petter Berg Appointed Vice-Rector
/On 4 April 2025 at 16:00, Ragnhild Hennum was elected as the University of Oslo's second female Rector. Joining her as Vice-rector with a special responsibility for life sciences and health is Jens Petter Berg, a Professor of clinical biochemistry and a member of the steering committee at Oslo Diabetes Research Centre.

Jens Petter will officially take office on 1 August 2025, as part of a leadership team that includes Pro-Rector Bjørn Jamtveit, Vice-Rector for Research and Internationalization Mathilde Skoie, and Vice-Rector for Education Berit Karseth.
