Knut Dahl-Jørgensen winner of the Knud Lundbæk Award 2024

Professor Emeritus Knut Dahl-Jørgensen was honored with the prestigious Knud Lundbæk award from the Scandinavian Society for the Study of Diabetes (SSSD) during its Annual Meeting in Helsinki on 24 May. The award recognizes researchers who have made significant contributions to experimental or clinical diabetes research, with a focus on work conducted in the Nordic countries. The recipient is chosen by the board members of the SSSD, and the award was presented by the current President of the SSSD, Professor Bjørn Olav Åsvold. Previously, the only other recipient from our Center was Professor Emeritus Kristian F. Hanssen, who received the prize in 1994. Congratulations, Knut!"
