Jens Petter Berg is Professor at the Institute of Clinical Medicine and Vice-Rector for Life Science and Health Research at the University of Oslo. He will update us on the University’s research strategy.

Sara E. Stinson, PhD, received the 2026 EASD Rising Star Symposium award and EFSD Rising Star Fellowship. Her research career thus far has focused on multi-omics, incretin, glucagon, and large-scale biobank data to study the pathophysiology of cardiometabolic diseases. Her lecture will be entitled «Midlife multi-omic trajectories linking type 2 diabetes to late-onset Alzheimer’s disease».
